DeWalt DCD706D2 12v XR Compact Cordless Brushless Hammer Drill

The DeWalt DCD706D2 is a compact 12v XR brushless combi drill designed for professional tradespeople working in confined spaces and overhead applications. Part of DeWalt's latest 12v XR platform, this drill delivers the performance of larger tools whilst measuring just 168mm in length, making it ideal for installations inside cabinets, cupboards, and other restricted areas.

The brushless motor provides up to 15% more runtime compared to previous generation models, whilst delivering 57.5Nm of maximum torque through a 2-speed gearbox with 15 adjustable clutch positions. The integrated hammer function with 25,500 BPM impact rate enables drilling into masonry and tougher materials when required. A bright LED worklight mounted at the base illuminates dimly lit workspaces for improved visibility and precision.

Weighing just 1kg without battery and supplied with a detachable belt hook, the DCD706D2 offers excellent manoeuvrability when working at height or in awkward positions. The new 12v batteries are fully backwards compatible with existing DeWalt 10.8v XR tools and feature integrated charge status indicators for convenient monitoring.
