The DeWalt DCE088 Self-Levelling Cross Line Green Beam Laser is a versatile multi-voltage XR power tool, compatible with both 12V and 18V Li-ion batteries, offering exceptional flexibility and extended runtime. The advanced green beam laser diode delivers superior brightness and visibility compared to traditional red beams, making it ideal for use in bright conditions and providing an extended working range of up to 30m (50m with detector).
This professional-grade laser features self-levelling technology for quick setup and accurate results, with an impressive accuracy of +/-3mm at 10m. The locking pendulum system helps protect internal components during transport and storage, whilst the fine adjustment knob enables precision positioning for exacting applications. Full-time pulse mode compatibility allows use with a laser detector for extended range applications, and the variable blink sequence provides flexibility in manual mode. The battery indicator keeps you informed of remaining power, and universal 1/4" and 5/8" tripod threads ensure compatibility with standard mounting equipment. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
