This bare unit version of the DCG405 18v XR Cordless Brushless Angle Grinder is ideal for professionals who already own DeWalt 18v XR batteries and chargers, offering an economical way to add this powerful 125mm grinder to your existing tool collection. This configuration provides the grinder body only, allowing you to utilise your current battery platform without duplication.
The brushless motor delivers exceptional efficiency, enabling up to 69 cuts through 1/2" steel rebar when paired with a 5.0Ah XR battery. The compact angled gear head and slim body design with rubber overmoulding ensure comfortable operation in confined spaces, whilst intelligent safety features including no-volt release, electronic clutch protection, and sub-2-second braking provide peace of mind on every job.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
