The DCH273 brushless XR 3-mode hammer drill delivers 2.1 joules of impact energy with an electronic clutch for consistently high torque, making it ideal for drilling anchor points and fixing holes into concrete. With rotary, SDS hammer, and chisel-only modes, this 3.1kg tool offers genuine versatility for masonry work, capable of drilling up to 24mm in masonry, 26mm in wood, and 13mm in metal at speeds up to 1,100rpm with 4,600 impacts per minute.
The DCD996 XR brushless combi drill features a robust 3-speed all-metal transmission that extends both runtime and tool life. With 95Nm of maximum torque and 11 adjustable clutch settings, it provides optimised control for precise screwdriving work. The three-speed gearbox delivers 0-2,000rpm at top speed with up to 38,250 impacts per minute, whilst the improved 3-position LED work light offers high, medium, and low settings for enhanced visibility. This 2.1kg drill handles drilling capacities of 55mm in wood, 15mm in steel, and 16mm in masonry through its 13mm keyless chuck.
The kit includes the DCB105 multi-voltage XR charger which intelligently adjusts charge rates according to battery type to maximise battery pack life. Its LED diagnostic system clearly communicates battery status including charged, charging, power problems, and temperature warnings. The charger is compatible with all DeWalt XR Li-Ion slide pack batteries across 10.8V, 14.4V, and 18V platforms.
