This variant is supplied as body only — no batteries or charger included — making it the ideal choice for professionals already invested in the DeWalt 18v XR system. Simply pair it with your existing XR batteries and charger to get straight to work on site.
The DCMHT564 features a 550mm blade with a 25mm gap, cutting through hedges quickly and cleanly. At just 3.2kg bare weight and with a motor housing 39% narrower than the DCM563, it's designed for prolonged commercial use without unnecessary strain. The D-ring handle and overmoulded grips give confident, comfortable control, and the wall-mounting hook keeps the tool stowed tidily when not in use.

The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
