Draper 6-42v Circuit Tracer and Detector

The Draper 6-42V Circuit Tracer and Detector is a diagnostic tool designed to locate short and open circuits in DC electrical systems quickly and accurately, without damaging wire insulation.

Purpose-built for automotive fault finding, this circuit tracer operates across a 6–42V DC voltage range, making it suitable for a broad range of vehicle and equipment electrical systems. The non-destructive tracing method means wiring looms and insulation remain intact throughout the diagnostic process.

The flexible probe — 172mm in length and just 5mm in diameter — allows access to wiring in confined or awkward locations, making it particularly well suited to engine bay diagnostics and under-dash fault finding. A sensitivity controller gives the user greater precision when isolating faults in complex circuits.

Powered by two PP3 9V batteries (not supplied), the unit includes a battery indicator so you always know when power levels are running low. At 186g, the kit is lightweight and easy to handle during extended diagnostic sessions.
