The Draper 95198 is a portable petrol inverter generator delivering 2800W rated power, designed for tradespeople and contractors requiring reliable backup power on site or for remote applications. Built around a robust 149.5cc four-stroke petrol engine with recoil start, this unit features pure sine wave inverter technology that provides clean, stable power suitable for sensitive electronic equipment including laptops, power tools with digital controls, and site office equipment.
Mobility is enhanced through an integrated wheel kit and carry handle, making it practical to transport between job sites despite its 33.5kg weight. The 7.5-litre fuel tank supports a continuous runtime of 3.4 hours at full load, whilst the inverter design keeps noise levels down to 62dB(A) at 7 metres – considerably quieter than traditional open-frame generators, making it more suitable for use in residential areas or noise-sensitive environments.
The generator provides versatile output options with two 230V AC sockets for standard UK power tools and equipment, plus a 12V DC charging output for battery maintenance tasks. Petrol Engines
It is important to read all instructions regarding petrol products. 4 Stroke engines require oil and some machines are supplied dry (No oil to start with). Running a 4 stroke petrol machine without oil will result in the engine seizing and is not covered under warranty.
2 Stroke engines will need to have a mix of oil in the petrol this is normally 1 part oil to 50 parts petrol but not always, again please read the instructions supplied with your machine. Petrol engines do require more maintenance than electric engines but if reguarly maintained they will normally give many years of use.
