Draper D222 Thread Lock Adhesive
The Draper D222 Thread Lock Adhesive is a low-strength threadlocking compound designed for securing adjusting screws, countersunk head screws and set screws. This adhesive provides reliable thread locking whilst allowing for easy disassembly when required, making it an essential addition to any workshop or toolbox.
Particularly well-suited for use on low-strength metals that could be damaged during removal, this thread lock offers a break-away strength of 6Nm. This controlled strength level ensures fasteners remain secure during operation whilst preventing the risk of stripping threads or breaking components when adjustments or maintenance are needed.
Ideal for applications where future disassembly is anticipated, the D222 is perfect for delicate assemblies, instrumentation work and equipment requiring periodic adjustment. The low-strength formulation provides the security of a threadlocking adhesive without the permanence of higher-strength alternatives.
