Draper DAT-ABS Air Belt Sander

The Draper DAT-ABS Air Belt Sander is a compact pneumatic sanding tool designed for detailed finishing work in confined areas. Manufactured with a lightweight aluminium housing, this air-powered belt sander weighs just 0.78kg, making it ideal for extended use without operator fatigue. The ergonomic soft grip handle provides enhanced comfort during prolonged sanding tasks, whilst the rear exhaust directs air away from the work surface.

Operating at 90 psi with an 18,000rpm free speed, this belt sander features a lever throttle mechanism that delivers precise speed control for different materials and applications. The 10mm wide belt and 280mm overall length make it particularly suitable for working in narrow spaces and recessed corners where standard sanders cannot reach. The 1/4" BSP airline connector ensures compatibility with standard workshop air compressor systems.

This air belt sander is supplied ready to use with three different grit sanding belts (60, 80, and 120 grit), allowing you to progress from coarse material removal through to fine finishing work. The tool requires a minimum 3/8" (10mm) hose diameter and consumes an average of 6cfm (170L/min) during operation.
