Q : Could you let me know the weight of the head of this digging hoe please? I’m looking for a lightweight tool. Thanks
A : Hi Janet, I'm afraid I don't have the weight of the head specifically, but the whole tool weighs 1.9kg if that's any help?
Q : answer for how to fix the head question. The handle is tapered so that the hoe blade slides on from the end you hold and jams in place. using it keeps the blade jammed on the handle. same principle as a pick axe or mattock.

Q : Does the blade come attached or is it fixed.. If it's loose how do you fix it?
A : The ones we've had in stock previously came pre-assembled but it appears sometimes they do send them out as two separate pieces - we don't have any in stock at the shop to check at the moment, but you could ask Draper if they're able to send you details for the current model? (I assume it would be a wedge that needs hammering into place but wouldn't like to say for certain, and specifications can always change)
Q : What are the dimensions of the blade.
A : The head is approximately 30cm long by 17cm wide
