The Draper Expert WHVS-BK is an auto-darkening welding helmet designed for professional welders and fabricators requiring reliable eye protection across multiple welding processes. This multi-purpose helmet automatically activates when the arc is struck, rapidly adjusting to the appropriate shade level with an impressive switching time of just 1/10,000 of a second.

The helmet offers comprehensive shade coverage including 4, 5-9 and 9-13, making it suitable for TIG, MIG and ARC welding, as well as plasma cutting and grinding operations. Four ARC sensors work in conjunction with adjustable sensitivity controls via a rotary dial, whilst the stepless dark-to-light delay function allows welders to fine-tune performance for different applications. The 100 x 67mm viewing area provides good visibility of the weld zone without compromising protection.

Powered by a hybrid system combining solar cell technology with a replaceable 600mAh lithium-ion battery, the helmet delivers fast switching and low amp sensitivity for precise control. At just 522g, the lightweight design includes a comfortable, adjustable headband with knob adjustment for an optimal fit during extended welding sessions.
