Draper Garden Kneeler and Seat

I have a garden kneeler and seat similar to this for some years. my mother who is elderly wanted one and i had to search to find one. after much searching i found this one which has no heavy metal frame, too heavy for my 93 year old mother. it is durable, fairly light and can be used as a seat when gardening or as a comfortable kneeler when the handles are useful for support. an added bonus is the lift up lid where you can store secateurs, ties, and other small tools as you work round the garden. i didn't find anything similar anywhere else at such a good value price.

A great kneeler/seat; strong and comfortable. As an amateur astronomer i found myself kneeling on wet, dewy grass or squatting uncomfortably and this is perfect for both kneeling and sitting comfortably. The storage under the seat, when filled with foam, is ideal for putting my eyepieces and other astronomical bits and pieces. Great value for money. Gardening? That's for the wife......

As my other garden kneeler rusted and fell apart, i thought i'd try an all plastic one. this seems to fit the bill, is well made & sturdy, it has a storage box under the seat which is handy for tools, it should last. A pity it doesn't fold up like my previous one did. good value for the money, i would recommend this to anyone needing a sturdy garden kneeler / seat.

A bit ott as a kneeler except that the handles are useful to help in standing. I use it a seat which works well and is suprisingly stable

Tooled-up delivery was excellent. However, the draper tools seat/ kneeler is not fit for purpose for heavier people. I am 16 stone and the seat broke within a week of delivery. My advice is only consider purchasing this if you wish to use it as a kneeler (in which case be careful not to use it the wrong way round, there's an edge which would be painful if kneeled upon. Only consider using it as a seat if you are far lighter than me.
