Draper XP1000 VDE Insulated High Leverage Side Cutters
The Draper XP1000 VDE Insulated High Leverage Side Cutters represent professional-grade cutting tools engineered for electrical work on live circuits. Manufactured from premium steel forged in Germany, these cutters feature induction-hardened jaws that deliver effortless clean cutting and exceptional long-term performance. The innovative off-centred precision-machined pivot pins enable smooth one-handed operation with minimum play, whilst simultaneously increasing leverage for cutting harder wires with ease.
Designed with safety as paramount, these cutters are rigorously tested to 10,000V and certified safe for working on live circuits up to 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. The two-part bi-material ergonomic soft grip handles provide maximum grip and user comfort during extended use, whilst integrated horns prevent hands from slipping onto live conductors. Available in sizes from 160mm to 200mm to suit different applications and user preferences.
