For anyone with a garden or allotment, the Einhell GP-EA 18/150 Li BL cordless earth auger is suitable not only for planting but also for creating holes when installing posts or poles into the ground, for example when putting up fence posts or installing a washing line.

Part of the Power X Change cordless system, the GP-EA 18/150 Li BL shares battery compatibility with all other Power X Change tools and can be used with any Power X Change battery. It is supplied with an auger attachment (length 80 cm / diameter 15 cm) - this is driven into the ground by a brushless motor that transmits its power to optimum effect. Another notable feature of this cordless tool is its robust aluminium gear head. The earth auger can be set to three different modes: 1: Counter-clockwise to move soil upwards or to loosen the drill. 2: clockwise rotation in standard mode. Regular force setting for easy drilling tasks in soft ground, and 3: clockwise rotation in boost mode. Maximum force setting for hard surfaces. Maximum stability and torsion-resistance are provided by a robust metal frame, and for practical handling and ergonomic operation there is a double softgrip handle.
