The Facom Protwist ATD.J5VE is a 5-piece VDE insulated screwdriver set rated to 1,000V, designed for electricians, electrical contractors, and anyone working safely on or around live electrical installations. Each screwdriver in the set is individually tested at 10,000V for 10 seconds before leaving the factory, providing verified protection that meets the IEC 60900 standard.
The set includes three flathead screwdrivers and two Pozidriv® screwdrivers, covering the most commonly encountered fastener types in electrical and general maintenance work. Facom's inline hardening process significantly extends tip life and improves break resistance, while CNC-machined tips ensure a precise fit with screw heads — reducing cam-out, improving torque transfer, and minimising wear over time.
The ergonomic handle is constructed from a softer, chemical-resistant material for comfort during extended use, and features a channelled grip design that increases torque output. Laser-marked identification on each screwdriver provides virtually permanent labelling that won't wear away with regular use — a practical detail appreciated in busy trade environments.
