Good idea for pointing and i like the tube which you can replace with down pipe when worn out.

The pointing gun itself is good but the mortar mixing attachment for the power drill is not strong enough. The blade fell off on the fifth mix. It was not possible to re-attach it as it was spot welded. A threaded bar and nut would have worked a lot better.

This piece of kit saves me alot of time and back ache when pointing paving.It is a far superior job when done with the pointing gun as it pumps the motar to the bottom of the joint and leaves no smudging or mess due to its accuracy.The only thing you have to watch is the quality of sand you use in your mix as it will block up if there are any stones. i have also used it on re-pointing brick work and found it saves time and mess. I`ve had mine two years and its still going strong.
