The Faithfull Woodwork Vice Quick Release and Dog is a heavy-duty woodworking vice designed for professional joiners, cabinet makers and serious woodworking enthusiasts. Manufactured from close grain grey cast iron with a steel mainscrew, this vice delivers long-lasting performance and reliability in demanding workshop environments.

The accurately machined housing and solid steel guide rods ensure smooth, true parallel jaw action without side deflection or cross movement. A quick-release lever enables rapid jaw adjustment to the required width without winding the main screw handle, significantly speeding up workpiece changes and repositioning during production work.

This vice incorporates a toe-in feature whereby the jaws only meet at the top when fully closed, providing even clamping pressure across the entire depth of the workpiece. Wooden jaw liners can be fitted to protect both the workpiece surface and the vice itself. The adjustable front stop or dog provides an additional clamping facility when used alongside a bench stop, ideal for edge planing and shaping operations on long boards.

Available in two sizes: FAIVW175DQ with 200mm (8in) opening and FAIVW230DQ with 330mm (13in) opening, both with 175mm (7in) jaw width.
