Festool RTSC 400 18v Cordless Brushless Orbital Sander
The Festool RTSC 400 18V Cordless Brushless Orbital Sander is the ergonomic one-handed solution for cable-free sanding wherever freedom of movement matters most. Powered by an 18V battery system paired with a brushless EC-TEC motor, it delivers performance comparable to a mains-powered tool — all in a compact, balanced design weighing just 1.4 kg.
The integral dust extraction system works in tandem with a long-life dust collection bag made from extra-durable nonwoven polyester, keeping your working environment clean whether you're sanding overhead, on vertical surfaces, or in hard-to-reach areas. The battery pack can also be swapped for a plug-it mains adapter for unlimited runtime during stationary work.
Available in three configurations — body only with case, or with 2 x 3Ah Li-ion batteries and charger, with and without accessories included.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
