The Flex SMS 190 18.0-EC is an 18v cordless sliding mitre saw designed for precision cutting in timber construction and finishing work. Powered by a brushless motor, this 190mm saw delivers enhanced efficiency and extended service life compared to traditional brushed motor designs. The electronic management system (EMS) protects the machine components, further increasing reliability and operational efficiency.
An integrated laser guide positioned to the left of the blade ensures exact marking for accurate cuts, whilst the sliding mechanism accommodates larger workpieces. The quick-action clamping holder secures materials firmly on the saw table, and the ergonomic handle features a switch lock for safe operation. The ambidextrous design suits both left and right-handed users.
Ideal for carpenters and joiners working on timber frame construction, the saw handles post and beam structures, drywall substructures, and laminate or parquet flooring installations with ease. It's equally suited to fitting wood panelling, architraves, and cover strips where precision mitring is essential.
A 36mm vacuum flange connection maintains a cleaner working area and improves visibility of the cutting line. The motor brake stops the blade within 3 seconds for enhanced user safety between cuts. The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
