Gardena 400 C Hand Cylinder Lawnmower 400mm

The principle of the Gardena 400 C hand cylinder mower 400 C is easy: as you push, the cutting cylinder and bottom blade move without contact. Similar to the action of a pair of scissors, the blade of grass is taken up and cut, but as the cutting cylinder and bottom blade do not touch you can push the mower along easily and without excess noise or physical effort. The hardened, non-stick-coated steel cutting cylinder and the ground bottom blade guarantee a clean and precise cut for excellent lawn care.

The 400 C is similar to the 400 Classsic but is fitted with a grass deflector which helps to ensure grass clippings are directed straight to the rear of the machine. This is particularly useful in conjunction with the optional grass catcher which is available separately (210281660).

The 400 C (for Comfort) was also designed with ergonomics at the forefront; large, grippy wheels facilitate steering and ease of mobility while the ergonomically formed handle ensures a comfortable grip while pushing the machine. The cutting height can be adjusted to one of four settings and the handle folds down for transport and space-saving storage.
