Gardena HANDYMOWER P4A 18v Cordless Rotary Lawnmower 220mm
The Power For All 18v Alliance is one of the largest cross-brand 18v battery platforms on the market today. Power For All lithium ion batteries were orginally developed for the Bosch Home & Garden range of cordless tools but can now be used in all Power For All 18v Alliance products, from manufacturers including Gardena, Bosch, Gloria, Wagner and Rapid.
Part of the Power For All 18v Alliance, meaning it shares battery compatibility with a wide variety of products for the home and garden, the Gardena HandyMower is a cordless rotary lawnmower which was designed for the maintenance of smaller grassed areas around the home. It has a 22cm blade which can be set at one of three cutting heights between 30 and 50 millimetres, and the fine clippings are sprayed back onto the lawn where they will act as natural fertiliser to promote healthy grass growth. The handle pivots to enable access underneath obstacles like garden furniture, and the machine is lightweight enough to be operated with one hand.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
