Gardena Litter Picker and Gripper with Spike

This replaced a similar model which I had used without any problems for over 30 years. I was relieved that it was still made and is identical in quality. The grabber has a firm grip and is easy to release. I especially like the built in spike. You can only use one feature or the other at any one time but it is simple to switch. The spike is excellent for spearing wet leaves on a lawn or a flowerbed. It is best not to try to cram too many onto the spike before flicking them off into a bin, because it can jam up a bit. This isn't a fault - just don't be too ambitious with the tool and it will serve you better.

I bought this to replace our old Gardena Litter picker whose spring in the gripping head had broken. I searched the Internet for a replacement and was so glad to find that it was still available. I eventually found this replacement at a very competitive price from Tooled Up and therefore ordered it straightaway. The service and speed at which it was sent was excellent and I now have a new Litter picker to save my old creaking back. Well done!

Wanted something to pick up/ remove all the litter my dog picks up on a walk and this is great. It super precise so you can pick up all sorts of small and fiddly items with ease. The spike is a nice touch, and when the spike is enabled, the trigger becomes a mechanism to ‘clear’ the spike by pushing little down and off the end. Really neat!

Performs perfectly in picking up dead leaves from the lawn and flower beds in my garden, which is what I bought it for. Easy to use and good value for money compared to other brands. 5 stars!

Having borrowed this picker from a neighbour, I decided I wanted one of my own. It is solidly built, and the addition of a retractable spike means it is more versatile than most. It has been very effective both in litter picking and in clearing leaves from a deep road drain.
