Gardena Smart Irrigation Control Unit
The Gardena Smart Irrigation Control Unit is a central control system designed for managing automated garden irrigation with up to six separate zones. Ideal for landscapers, grounds maintenance contractors and property managers looking to implement efficient, programmable watering systems, this smart controller integrates seamlessly with above-ground or underground irrigation networks using 24V valves.
Once connected to the separately available Gardena smart Gateway, the unit enables complete control through the Gardena smart App on iOS and Android devices. The EasyApp Control interface allows you to manage irrigation schedules remotely from virtually anywhere, whilst the Auto-Schedule Assistant optimises watering times based on your specific requirements. Setup is straightforward using the EasyConfig feature, which provides step-by-step installation guidance with clear illustrations and helpful instructions.
The system offers advanced functionality when paired with the optional Gardena smart Sensor (sold separately), which monitors soil moisture and temperature to deliver precise, weather-responsive irrigation. This intelligent approach helps reduce water consumption whilst maintaining optimal growing conditions across different garden areas. The unit also supports integration with popular smart home platforms including Apple HomeKit and Amazon Alexa, making it suitable for modern connected property management systems.
