When paired with a compatible soil moisture sensor such as the Gardena smart Sensor, the system can skip unnecessary watering cycles, helping to prevent over-watering and reduce water waste.

Smart home compatibility makes this irrigation timer a natural fit for connected homes. It works with Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home and more, allowing watering schedules to be monitored and controlled from a smartphone or smart home hub. The Gardena smart App also sends frost alert notifications when temperatures are forecast to drop below zero, giving homeowners the chance to protect their equipment before any damage occurs.

The built-in valve supports an operating pressure range of 0.5 to 12 bar and features Safe Stop technology for reliable, consistent performance. Up to 36 watering cycles per day can be programmed, with flexible duration settings available through the app.
