Greenworks GD40BC 40v Cordless Brushless Grass Trimmer 350mm
The Greenworks GD40BC 40V Cordless Brushless Grass Trimmer delivers high-performance garden maintenance without the noise, maintenance demands, or harmful carbon emissions associated with petrol-powered alternatives. At its heart is a DigiPro brushless motor, which eliminates internal friction for maximum energy transfer from the lithium-ion battery, resulting in longer runtimes, reduced vibration, and extended machine longevity.
The top-mounted motor design has been carefully weight-balanced for comfortable, fatigue-free operation. A straight steel shaft provides durability and generous reach — ideal for taller operators, larger trimming areas, and accessing awkward spots beneath shrubs or garden furniture.
A variable speed trigger lets you dial up cutting power on demand when tackling thick growth or stubborn weeds. For added versatility, the trimmer accepts attachments from leading brands including Ryobi and TrimmerPlus. Available with or without battery and charger.
Features and Benefits:
• DigiPro brushless motor technology delivers true petrol-level performance with zero carbon emissions
• 350mm (14") cut path with variable speed trigger for on-demand power through tough weeds
• Top-mounted motor and straight steel shaft provide excellent balance and ergonomics
• Compatible with attachments from Ryobi, TrimmerPlus, and more
• 2mm dual-line bump-feed head for quick, on-demand line advancement
Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
Greenworks 40v Battery System
