Greenworks ST24B 24v Cordless Brushless Grass Trimmer 300mm
This variant of the Greenworks ST24B is supplied as a bare tool — no battery or charger included — making it the ideal choice if you already own one or more Greenworks 24v batteries and simply want to add a grass trimmer to your existing cordless system.
Sharing battery compatibility across the entire Greenworks 24v range, the ST24B offers great value and convenience for those already invested in the platform. The brushless motor provides reliable, efficient performance with a 300mm cutting diameter suited to tidying lawn edges and garden borders.
The telescopic shaft adjusts to suit different user heights, and the automatic line feed system reduces downtime caused by line breakages. A fold-out plant protector helps keep nearby plants, trees, and surfaces safe during trimming.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
Greenworks 24v Battery System
The Greenworks 24v Li-ion System is a range of 24v tools where all 24v batteries of all ah ratings fit all tools, allowing you to buy just a few batteries but as many of the range of bare tools that you need without the expense of a new batteries and chargers each time. In some cases there may be tools that take 2 x 24v batteries to power a 48v motor - These are still part of the 24v battery system but with the added benefit of a more powerful motor.
