Greenworks ST40B 40v Cordless Grass Trimmer 330mm
This variant of the Greenworks ST40B is supplied as a bare tool — without a battery or charger — making it the perfect option if you already own one or more Greenworks 40v lithium-ion batteries and simply need to add a grass trimmer to your toolkit.
The trimmer offers a 330mm cutting width and all the same practical features as the full kit: a telescopic shaft for comfortable working height, a head that angles and rotates for edging and under-obstacle access, an Auto Feed line system to keep interruptions to a minimum, and a plant protector to help prevent accidental damage to surrounding plants or surfaces.
Purchasing the bare tool avoids the cost of duplicating batteries and chargers you may already own within the Greenworks 40v system.
Features and Benefits:
• Bare tool — ideal for existing Greenworks 40v battery system owners
• 330mm cutting width for efficient grass trimming
• Auto Feed line system minimises interruptions during use
• Plant protector shields surrounding plants and surfaces
• Telescopic shaft adjusts to a comfortable working length
• Head angles and rotates for edging and under-obstacle access

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
Greenworks 40v Battery System
The Greenworks 40v Li-ion System is a range of 40v tools where all 40v batteries of all ah ratings fit all tools, allowing you to buy just a few batteries but as many of the range of bare tools that you need without the expense of a new batteries and chargers each time.
