The first need after unpacking is to assemble the various components. So, read the instructions - sorry no reading necessary - no words, no numbered parts, just unbelievably appalling diagrams. Can't Hozelock speak English? The instructions are a disgrace. However, once its all put together, it works well, and there is nothing flimsy about it. I shortened the strap and used it as a handle to pull it along. I think it could do with a lance extension so that the user would not have to stoop to spray accurately. Otherwise excellent. It did not take me long to spray all the moss on our large drive and the lower part of the house walls where algae grow (and I am 77years).

If you are considering buying a pressure sprayer, i advise you to buy the far superior Viton from Hozelock. This is a more versatile sprayer than the standard Hozelock sprayer, featuring far better seal rings, plus a stainless steel spray nozzle & tube. These allow the use of more aggressive liquids in your sprayer. I use mine for home made weed killer & i was advised that this is ok in the Viton as long as it is rinsed out well after each use. Common sense really. I have found that i use far less products, since replacing my old sprayer for the new model. This is due to an improved & very good spray head, giving an even application with no drips or dribbles. So impressed was i, that i now own two. One for weed killer & the second for lawn feed. Recommended sprayer.
