The Irwin HSS TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tipped) Drill Bits are engineered for precision drilling in the most demanding materials. Designed for use with stationary machines, these professional-grade drill bits excel when working with hardened steel, cast iron, bronze alloys, and manganese alloyed steel. Available in metric sizes from 2mm to 14mm, each bit features a C2 carbide tip capable of drilling hardened materials up to 50 Rockwell C hardness.

The four-facetted ground tip design ensures low drilling pressure and perfect centring, whilst the Chrome Vanadium Steel body is hardened to 56 Rockwell C for exceptional durability. For optimal performance and extended tool life, Irwin recommends using a coolant when drilling – specifically a 3-6% emulsion – which significantly extends the lifetime of the drill bit.
