Makita 18v LXT Cordless Split Shaft Garden Multi Tool Kit
This is the most complete kit option, supplied with 4 x Makita BL1850B 18v LXT 5Ah Li-ion batteries and a DC18RD dual port charger — ideal for professional landscapers or serious gardeners who need maximum runtime and the ability to charge two batteries simultaneously.
The kit pairs the Makita DUX18 split shaft power head with the EM404MP brush cutter attachment. The DUX18 brushless motor delivers up to 470w of output power with variable speed control, soft start, and Constant Speed control to maintain cutting performance under load. AFT technology protects the tool from overload, while the electric brake brings the cutting head to a rapid stop for added safety.
The EM404MP attachment fits via a tool-less clip-lock coupling and features a steel drive shaft for lower vibration and a bump and feed trimmer head for productive grass cutting.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
