Makita 5 Piece Wood Drill Bit Set
The Makita D-72861 is a 5-piece brad point wood drill bit set, designed for clean, accurate drilling in timber using a power drill.
Brad point bits are the preferred choice for woodworking applications, featuring a sharp central point and two raised spurs that locate precisely on the material surface and prevent the bit from wandering. This geometry ensures clean-sided holes with minimal tear-out, making the set well suited to joinery, carpentry, and general timber work on site or in the workshop.
The set covers five of the most commonly used sizes — 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm — making it a practical all-round option for carpenters and woodworking contractors who need a reliable range to hand. The straight shanks are compatible with standard drill chucks. A plastic storage case keeps the bits organised and protected between uses.
Features and Benefits:
• Brad point design for accurate hole location and clean-sided results in wood
• Five versatile sizes covering the most commonly required diameters
• Straight shank compatible with standard power drill chucks
