This Makita A36N Aluminium Grinding Disc in 230mm diameter is the largest option in the range, making it ideal for high-volume aluminium grinding tasks where maximum coverage and efficiency are essential. Suited to 230mm angle grinders, it delivers rapid material removal across wider work surfaces.
The disc's unique bond structure combines grit impregnated with stearic acid, which acts as a lubricant between the grit and workpiece at elevated temperatures. This is particularly important when working with aluminium, which has a low melting point — the reduced friction means less heat build-up and far less risk of material clogging the disc surface.
