The Makita DBN601 is a cordless 18v LXT brushless 16 gauge straight finishing nailer that combines the feel of a pneumatic nailer with the convenience of cordless power. This innovative tool features a pneumatic spring mechanism that delivers familiar pneumatic performance whilst running on any battery in the Makita 18v LXT system.
Lightweight and compact for excellent mobility, the DBN601 is ideal for various second fix jobs including architrave, skirting, and trim work. It incorporates Makita XPT eXtreme Protection Technology for improved dust and water resistance, ensuring better long-term durability in demanding jobsite environments.
The maintenance-free brushless motor delivers reliable performance, whilst the integrated LED worklight illuminates the work area for precision. Available in bare unit or complete kit configurations, this nailer accepts straight 16 gauge finish nails from 19-64mm and features a generous 110-nail magazine capacity.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
