The Makita DC40RA is a professional fast charger designed for Makita 40v Max XGT Lithium ion power tool batteries. Engineered for demanding trade environments, this intelligent charger is equipped with dual cooling fans—one dedicated to the battery and another for the charging circuit—enabling consecutive fast charging at optimum speeds without overheating.
The DC40RA delivers impressive charging performance, fully recharging a 2.5Ah 40v battery in approximately 28 minutes and a 4.0Ah 40v battery in approximately 45 minutes. Its versatility extends to Makita's 18v LXT lithium ion batteries when used with the ADP10 adaptor (sold separately), making it an invaluable addition to any workshop running multiple Makita cordless tools.
