Makita DDF484 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Drill Driver
The Makita DDF484 18V LXT Cordless Brushless Drill Driver represents the latest evolution in Makita's industry-leading cordless platform, combining enhanced performance with reduced size and weight. This professional-grade drill driver features an energy-efficient brushless motor that maximises runtime from LXT battery packs, whilst delivering impressive power and precision.
Built around a two-speed, all-metal drive system, the DDF484 reaches speeds up to 2,000rpm in high mode and generates 54Nm maximum torque. The machine offers 21 clutch settings plus a dedicated drill mode for versatile operation across different materials. With a compact 172mm length and weighing just 1.8kg, it provides excellent manoeuvrability in confined spaces without sacrificing durability.
The drill driver is available as a bare unit or as part of a comprehensive kit with battery, charger and storage case.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
