This powerful tool is Makita's first cordless 9-inch circular saw, featuring a brushless 36V motor that runs on two 18V LXT batteries simultaneously for extended runtime and consistent power delivery.

The DHS900 incorporates Automatic Torque Drive Technology, which intelligently adjusts cutting speed according to load conditions for optimal performance. The guide rail compatible base slots directly onto Makita guide rails without requiring an adaptor, making it ideal for precise straight cuts in sheet materials, flooring, and timber. An electric brake provides rapid blade stopping for improved safety, whilst the LED job light illuminates the cutting line in dimly lit environments.

This circular saw is AWS compatible, allowing it to be fitted with a wireless chip (sold separately) for synchronised startup of Bluetooth-enabled dust extractors. The rotatable dust nozzle facilitates easy connection to extraction systems for cleaner working conditions. The magnesium die-cast base plate delivers durability whilst keeping weight manageable, and the tool offers versatile bevel cutting capabilities up to 1° left and 60° right. An overload alert using the ADT indicator lamp helps protect the motor from damage during demanding applications.
