Makita DLX2180TJ 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Combi Drill and Impact Driver Kit
The Makita DLX2180TJ is a professional cordless tool kit that provides an ideal introduction to the comprehensive Makita 18v LXT platform. This versatile kit combines a DHP454 combi drill and DTD153 impact driver, delivering a complete solution for drilling, driving and high-torque fastening applications across wood, metal and masonry.
Both tools feature advanced brushless motor technology, providing superior efficiency, extended runtimes and increased tool longevity compared to conventional brushed motors. The kit is available with a choice of 3.0Ah, 4.0Ah or 5.0Ah battery capacities to suit different runtime requirements.
All components are supplied in a stackable Makpac Connector Type 3 case, which can be connected to additional Makpac cases to create a streamlined transport and storage system. The included DC18RC compact charger and batteries are fully compatible with the entire range of Makita 18v LXT cordless tools, allowing you to expand your toolkit without purchasing additional power sources.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
