The Makita DML806 is a cordless LED work light designed for providing versatile illumination across a wide range of professional and trade applications. The three-stage brightness switch allows users to select full brightness using 20 LEDs for maximum visibility, half brightness with 10 LEDs for extended runtime, or the top LED only for focused overhead lighting. With a maximum output of 620 lumens on full power, this work light provides ample illumination for construction sites, workshops, and confined spaces.
The compact design makes it ideal for use in restricted areas where space is limited, whilst the 360-degree illumination pattern ensures comprehensive coverage around the work area. The top-mounted 1W LED features a light-diffusing reflector and transparent lens, delivering clear, even light distribution without harsh shadows.
Impressive runtime performance means the DML806 can operate for up to 11 hours on full brightness, 21 hours on half brightness, or an exceptional 59 hours in flash mode when powered by an 18V 5.0Ah battery. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.

A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
