Makita DML809 18v LXT Cordless LED Worklight
The Makita DML809 18V LXT Cordless LED Worklight is a powerful and versatile lighting solution designed for professional use on site and in the workshop. Featuring 96 super luminous daylight white LEDs, it delivers exceptional illumination with three brightness settings to suit a range of tasks and conditions.
The DML809 offers both corded and cordless operation, accepting 14.4V and 18V Makita LXT Lithium-Ion batteries alongside mains power — making it ideal when flexibility matters. The adjustable rotation feature allows the light head to be positioned at various angles, maximising your field of vision wherever you need it.
The worklight can also be mounted on an optional tripod light stand for hands-free elevated lighting, and a convenient carry handle makes it easy to move between locations. Available in 110V and 240V mains configurations.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
