The Makita DSL801 is a professional-grade cordless drywall sander designed to deliver dust-controlled finishing on walls and ceilings. The telescopic pole extends from 1120mm to 1540mm, providing comfortable reach for ceiling work whilst maintaining control on walls without requiring steps or platforms. The 225mm sanding head covers substantial surface area efficiently, whilst the redesigned dust collection brush minimises airborne debris - essential for maintaining site cleanliness and meeting workplace dust control requirements.
Makita's Auto-start Wireless System (AWS) enables Bluetooth connection to compatible vacuum cleaners, automatically activating dust extraction when the sander operates. The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
