As Makita's first cordless plunge saw, it bridges the gap between corded performance and portable convenience through an innovative twin-battery system.

Powered by two 18V LXT batteries running in series to deliver 36V total power, the DSP600 achieves cutting performance comparable to its corded equivalent, the SP6000. The brushless motor maximises runtime from each battery charge whilst delivering variable speed control from 2,500 to 6,300rpm, allowing you to match the cutting speed to the material. Makita's Automatic Torque Drive Technology monitors and adjusts cutting speed according to load conditions, maintaining consistent performance whether you're working in softwood, hardwood, or sheet materials.

The saw provides a 56mm maximum cutting depth at 90 degrees, reducing to 40mm at 45 degrees, with bevel capacity ranging from -1 to 48 degrees for versatile applications. A depth stopper function ensures splinter-free cutting, whilst the electric brake and soft start enhance both safety and control. At 5.1kg with a 165mm blade diameter, the DSP600 delivers professional results whilst remaining manageable for all-day use.

Fully compatible with the existing Makita Guide Rail System, the DSP600 integrates seamlessly into established workflows. The package includes a TCT saw blade and hex wrench, supplied in a MakPac Type 4 connector case for organised storage and transport. Note that batteries and charger are sold separately.
