Makita's first cordless plunge saw, the DSP600ZJ brings the precision and versatility of the acclaimed SP6000 to a completely wire-free platform. Powered by two 18v LXT batteries running in series for a combined 36v output, this machine delivers performance comparable to its corded counterpart — without compromising jobsite flexibility or convenience.
The DSP600 features a brushless motor for maximised battery efficiency, paired with Makita's Automatic Torque Drive Technology, which intelligently adjusts cutting speed to suit load conditions for consistently clean results across all materials. Soft start, an electric brake, and a depth stopper ensure splinter-free cutting with full control, while the bevel range of -1 to 48 degrees with positive stops makes angled work straightforward.
Fully compatible with the Makita Guide Rail System, this kit includes two 1500mm guide rails and a joining strip for extended runs. Available with or without batteries and charger — choose the configuration that suits your setup.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
