The Makita DSS611 18v LXT Cordless Circular Saw has been developed as a cost-competitive sister tool to the model DDS610, offering professional quality cutting performance in a lightweight, portable design. This cordless circular saw delivers the same high performance as its more expensive sibling but focuses on essential features, making it ideal for tradespeople who need a reliable, no-frills cutting solution without paying for extras they won't use.
Built around Makita's proven 18v LXT lithium-ion battery platform, the DSS611 features a 165mm blade capable of cutting up to 57mm deep at 90 degrees. The saw maintains excellent control through its double safety trigger and high comfort grips, whilst the removable dust nozzle helps keep your work area cleaner. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.

A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance.
