The Makita DTD172 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Impact Driver is a compact professional tool delivering 180 Nm of fastening torque in a space-saving 114mm body length. This brushless impact driver combines power and precision with electronic 4-stage impact power selection, making it ideal for electricians, carpenters, and general contractors working with varying fastening applications.
The brushless motor technology provides efficient power delivery whilst extending tool life and runtime. An LED job light features pre-glow and after-glow functions to illuminate the work area before and after trigger release, particularly useful when working in confined spaces or poorly lit environments. The anti bit-wobbling structure and new one-touch bit installation system ensure secure bit retention and rapid changeover between fastening tasks.
With an ergonomically designed slim tool body, this impact driver is well-suited for overhead work and prolonged use throughout the working day. The variable speed trigger control and electric brake offer precise fastening control, whilst the quick mode switching button allows rapid adjustment between the four power settings. The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
