Makita DTW301 18v LXT Cordless Brushless 1/2" Impact Wrench
The Makita DTW301 is a compact 18v LXT cordless brushless impact wrench designed for professional mechanics, engineers, steel erectors, maintenance technicians and construction tradespeople who need high torque performance in tight spaces.
At just 144mm in body length, the DTW301 delivers exceptional manoeuvrability in confined and restricted areas without sacrificing power. The brushless motor provides up to 330Nm of fastening torque and 580Nm of nut-busting torque, making it equally capable of precise assembly work and removing seized or stubborn fasteners.
Four selectable power settings allow users to match speed and torque output to the task at hand. Three reaction time auto-stop modes in both forward and reverse rotation help prevent over-tightening and reduce the risk of dropped fasteners during removal — a useful safety feature during overhead or awkward working positions.
Makita's eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) helps guard the tool against dust and moisture ingress, making the DTW301 well suited to demanding site conditions. The integrated LED work light aids visibility in low-light environments, while the battery protection system automatically cuts power when charge levels drop too low, protecting both the tool and battery.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.

A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance.
