This Makita DUN600L variant is supplied as a bare unit without batteries or charger, making it ideal for professionals and users who already own Makita's 18v LXT battery platform. This configuration offers excellent value whilst maintaining all the performance features of this advanced pole hedge trimmer.
The brushless motor technology delivers exceptional efficiency and durability, whilst the constant speed control system ensures consistent cutting power through dense foliage. The 600mm curved blade with triple-edged teeth cuts cleanly through branches up to 23.5mm diameter, with three speed settings providing up to 4,400 strokes per minute for rapid trimming work.
The straight hedge trimmer head extends to 2,050mm overall length, allowing you to reach tall hedges and difficult areas without ladders. Ergonomically designed with a rubberised soft grip loop handle and weighing just 3.7-4.1kg, this lightweight tool minimises fatigue during prolonged use.

The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
