The Makita DUS054 is a cordless garden sprayer designed for professional groundskeepers, landscape gardeners, and maintenance contractors who need reliable pesticide and fertiliser application. Powered by an 18V LXT Li-ion battery, this shoulder-carried sprayer delivers consistent pressure up to 0.3 MPa whilst eliminating the need for manual pumping or petrol engines.
The telescopic spray wand extends from 0.5 to 0.7 metres and features an intuitive paddle switch positioned directly under the grip, allowing instant on/off control without adjusting your hand position. The unit offers selectable mist and stream modes – mist provides optimal coverage for delicate plants and targeted pesticide application, whilst stream mode delivers efficient watering and fertiliser distribution across larger areas.
With a 5-litre tank capacity and ergonomically optimised shoulder design, the sprayer maintains comfort during extended use across commercial sites. The H-shaped double head nozzle can be switched to single head operation depending on coverage requirements, and the 1.7-metre hose provides working flexibility. IP54 rating ensures protection against dust and splash water in typical outdoor conditions, whilst the 3-LED fuel gauge monitors battery status. The lock-on function reduces fatigue during continuous spraying tasks.

The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
