Makita DUX60 Twin 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Split Shaft Garden Multi Tool Kit
Part of Makita's twin 18v LXT cordless platform, the DUX60 is a professional-grade multi-function power head built around an efficient brushless motor. Designed for demanding garden maintenance tasks, it delivers a powerful 36v DC motor drive system by combining two 18v Li-ion batteries, with a maximum output of 600w.
The DUX60 features three speed settings and a variable speed control dial, allowing the operator to match performance precisely to the application. Soft start and an electric brake ensure smooth operation and enhanced safety, while Active Feedback Sensing Technology helps maintain consistent performance under load.
The included Makita EM406MP line trimmer attachment features a steel drive shaft for reduced vibration and extended equipment life, complete with a bump and feed trimmer head. Attachments are changed quickly and securely via a tool-less slide joint coupling with a clip-lock fixing. Available with or without batteries and charger — including 5Ah and 6Ah battery kit options.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
