Makita DUX60 Twin 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Split Shaft Garden Multi Tool Kit
Part of Makita's twin 18v LXT cordless platform, the DUX60 is a professional-grade multi-function power head built around an efficient brushless motor. Three speed settings and a variable speed control dial allow the user to precisely match the speed to the application, while soft start and an electric brake deliver maximum productivity and increased operator safety.
This kit includes the Makita EM404MP brushcutter attachment, which features a steel drive shaft for reduced vibration and a longer service life, plus a bump-and-feed trimmer head for efficient grass cutting. Also included is the Makita EN402MP hedge trimmer attachment, fitted with a 500mm double-edged blade and an angle-adjustable head that can be set in 13 stages between 90° up and 90° down — ideal for trimming the tops of tall hedges.
All attachments connect via a tool-less slide joint coupling with a simple clip-lock fixing. Available with 2 x 5Ah batteries, 2 x 6Ah batteries, or as a body-only option without batteries or charger.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
