The Makita DVC265 is a cordless backpack vacuum cleaner designed for tradespeople who need powerful, portable dust extraction on job sites. Powered by twin 18V LXT batteries, this brushless model delivers professional suction performance with the freedom to work anywhere without trailing cables.
The brushless motor provides maintenance-free operation and long service life, whilst delivering 110mbar of sealed suction power and up to 2m³/min air volume. The HEPA filtration system captures 99.75% of particles, making it ideal for dust control during sanding, drilling, cutting operations, and general site clean-up where dust suppression is essential.
Comfort during extended use comes from the ergonomic backpack design with padded shoulder straps and waist belt, distributing the 3.2kg weight evenly across your body. At just 230mm long when worn, the compact unit allows unrestricted movement in tight spaces. The adjustable speed control lets you match suction power to the task, whilst the integrated LED light illuminates dark work areas. Battery protection circuitry automatically shuts down when charge runs low, safeguarding your LXT batteries from damage.

The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
